As part of our value statement and our statement of faith, our main goal is to share the gospel to the children who come through our doors. As it is written in Matthew 4:4 ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.’

Devotion
Devotion and quality time spent in the Word of God is important.

We bought a new series of devotional material and our prayer is that with these resources, our team will have an opportunity to share the Gospel with the children on a regular basis. Please pray with us that the seeds sewn will fall on fertile soil and that the Lord will save the children.
Leadership Camp 2020
Our annual camp was held in Addo during February. The children and team members that went with, had a wonderful time and had opportunities to learn various skills. They learned valuable lessons on team work and could experience the end result of having their own potjiekos competition. The theme for the camp was “Leadership” but at Joshua Project, we teach the children that the greatest leader is Jesus Christ. Without Him, none of this would be possible.

Devotion during lockdown
Soon after our camp, we went into the national lock down and our concern was for the children not reading their Bibles or hearing the gospel. When we started our food parcels, we could send some lovely activities with in order for them to keep themselves busy but also have food for the soul. Thank you to our volunteers who took hours in getting these activities ready.

We bought a new series of devotional content and although we were eager to share this with the children, we will have to wait for 2021.
May the seeds sown through this project, fall on fertile ground. Please pray with us for the salvation of the children.
